Elle and I visited Buenos Aires in November, 2010. It was an amazing week of exploring, eating, and relaxing. We absolutely loved BA, and can't wait to go back.

Tips

Must Do Palermo Hollywood , Palermo Hollywood is the area we rented an apartment in. It was great. Cute little neighborhood that felt very safe and comfortable.
Must Do La Cabrera , We went to La Cabrera for my birthday dinner. Absolutely delicious but enormous portions. Do as the menu says and order one entree per TWO people. So so good.
Must Do Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza - Ministro Pistarini (EZE) , There are two airports. This is the one to fly into.
Must Do Estadio Boca Juniors (Alberto J. Armando) , It's mecca for Futbol fans in BA. If you are in town when a game is happening, definitely make plans to go, although we heard it's best to go with a guide. Things get pretty rowdy and it's good to ...
Must Do Feria de San Telmo , Every sunday there is a massive flea market in San Telmo. We went two weeks in a row. Tons of vendors, tons of food. People everywhere. As always, be aware of pick pockets.
Must Do Cementerio de la Recoleta , It's a tourist destination for a reason. I've never been in a cemetery like it. Yes, Evita is buried here, but the entire place is amazing.
Do Thelonious Club , This was a really cool, low key jazz club. If you're in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth a visit.
Do Campo Argentino de Polo , We went to see a polo match here. Definitely a unique experience if you have the time.
Do Antares , Great brewery in palarmo. Good beer flights and decent food (although we only had appetizers).
Do Olsen , Great place for brunch. Good blend of inside and outside atmosphere. On a sunny day, it's really a great spot.
Do Zentrum Hostel Boutique , A 4 private room hostel in a great part of town overlooking a great little park. Also has a great roofdeck.
Do Tegui , We got there around 12 AM and still had to wait 30 mins. We split their 5 course tasting menu. It's an expensive place, but totally worth doing as a splurge.
Miss The Tango City Hostel Inn Buenos Aires , We had heard this place was great, but it's really dirty and the private rooms are pretty bare. Your money is better spent elsewhere.
Miss Buller Pub & Brewery , Food was just okay and the beer wasn't anything special. Many more authentic places to eat/drink.
